I like the developer (Tri-Crescendo), specifically their work on Eternal Sonata, but I knew after the first site of gameplay footage that this would be a clunky piece of shit. You just move so fucking slow in this game that it's ridiculous. The premise is strong, but simply playing the game is like reliving the worst aspects of the old Resident Evil and Dino Crisis game. If I wanna a horror game with generally mediocre gameplay, I'll stick with Blue Stinger. At least that had a little bit of nostalgic charm to it when I played it, but there was no way you could have released a Wii game that needs to be compared to PS1 and DC games in order to really explain what's wrong with it.
