When the dice called up this game, I had no idea what I was getting into, but the concept intrigued me. Turns out it was for good reason: it's been a while since a developer got the concept of Lovecraft quite this well... come on in.

Necrophosis (PC) Review
I have been waiting a while for this one. Earlier this year Dragonis Games dropped a demo to show off what they were working on, and I was instantly hooked. So I put the game on my wishlist, eager to get to the main game. Now as the game has been out for a little while, my schedual around game series has opened up to let me pop this into my PC. And while it was shorter and perhaps easier then I would have liked, overall it did not disappoint. Where it mattered, this game delivered.
Cthulhu Saves Christmas (Switch) Review
Merry Christmas, everyone! It's been a good long while I've played a game according to season, but I got my hands of this one on the switch last year and felt wrong playing it months later. So I set it aside, and the moment December started, this was next in line. And while I knew it wouldn't be a long game, I was more then ok with that. I knew it would be a good time: and it was... but it definitely had it's own surprises for me.
Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones (PC) Review
What is with games that hold so much promise, then let you down so hard? This is another game I have to say did this to me. Last year I saw the demo out there while looking for things to make variety in the 100 Days of gaming. The restrictions the development team insisted on for anyone showing it off gave me second thoughts about playing it for everyone and in fact, I chose to do other games. This should have been a warning to me. But this year the full release came out, and the excitement of a good Lovecraft RPG got the better of me and I picked it up as my "this is for me" birthday gift. Well, let's just say I didn't pick a good one this year.
Euclidean (PC) Review
Once again, Joel from Vinesauce showed me something awesome. This time, I happened to walk into the middle of his youtube video where he was playing this game. I really did not understand what I was watching, but for a few minutes, I knew I was going to have to check this one out. It was just too weird not to give it a play myself. Sadly, unlike the last game he introduced me to, this was not an amazing experience, but it was definitely interesting, and a game I'm glad I took some time with.
