October 26th is quickly coming up, and with it the big gaming marathon to support sick kids around the world, and it’s time to ramp up our efforts. So far as a community, we have raised $411,340 and we still have 2 months to go. And of course I'm going to encourage you to join us that day and donate to the cause. And as of yesterday, the event has expanded it’s online presence as the Extra Life Forums have gone LIVE! I have personally already signed up and will be stopping in regularly so please say hi to me and the other gamers who will be a part of this!
As for on our end, we will be streaming the event and welcome you to join us via stream. Our game selection has not yet been decided yet, so please feel free to suggest what you think would be fun. In the meantime, we are holding a raffle to go with our fund raising efforts and we invite you to join us!
Which of course begs the question of what we are raffling off and how to enter. Well, we are raffling off about 16 Steam games in one big bundle:

Please keep in mind, we are in the US, so we can not guarantee these games will be available to international players, but with that in mind, the next question becomes how do you enter? And the answer for that it’s as simple as donating. The only thing you need to do is make sure your email is visible. This WILL NOT make it visible to everyone, but it will make it visible to the person on the team you donate to. Every $5 donated rounded down will count as a raffle and as soon as we have $100 or more in donations we will set aside a date to play and give away some games.
If we do not get enough “entries” we will do the game give-away during Extra Life itself.
