It’s been a few months since my last update for Extra Life, but that also means there has been some time for new (and excellent) developements! First and foremost, if you look to the thermometer, you will notice our goal now stands at $300. We smashed through $200 this week and are already withing striking distance of bringing this new goal to the kids who need it most. I can not thank you enough for helping us along as far as you have, but we would love to bring more to the table for the kids. Last year we were able to break $600, and we would love to do it again. We still have a few months, but of course anything you can or want to bring to this cause is more then welcome.
Our team page is readily on-hand by clicking that same thermometer, and clicking the roster will let you choose who on the team you want to donate under and by proxy, what hospital you specifically want your donation to go to (each team member’s page has it listed). The entire thing is run by the Children’s Miracle Network directly, so neither you nor we have to worry about who’s hands the money goes through.
But of course, this wouldn’t be a Red Sector Extra Life if we weren’t giving away games with this, would it. I’ll admit, I’ve kinda gotten hooked on this part of the event as strongly as everything else, and we do have more to offer then even our last update. Please step inside to see what’s going on.
First off, while we are well on our way to bringing in the kind of cash we did last year, we have not had many donations entering the raffle yet, so the board is still wide open and every $5 in a donation that allows us to see the email (since we will be sending the games via email from steam) counts as an entry! I will have the full instructions (as I did in the last Extra Life entry) at the bottom, but before I do so, it’s time to update the list of games! As always, the ones added since the last update will be highlighted.

And as of this update, there are now 57 games on the table, and I am itching to give these to someone on November 5th when we all gather to play games for 25 hours in the name of and the help sick children in our local hospitals. So how do you get a chance at getting these games? Well the instructions are still the same:
- Click that "Make a Donation" button under the thermometer to the right of this website.
- Welcome to the Red Sector's Extra Life page. Click the word Roster.
- You will now be looking at the gamers that make up our team. Click the name you want to donate to.
- Now that you are on one of our individual pages, click the "Support Me" button on the page. (If you want to see which hospital the gamer is playing for, it will be at the bottom of this page, and every gamer will be playing for a different team)
- Fill in the information and make sure to include an email we can reach you in the message box. (You can make it so only the gamer can see it if you like.)
For every $5 you donate, you will get an entry in the raffle on Extra Life on the night of November 5th, and we hope to see you there! Good luck!
