Extra Life is ON! And the Red Sector is going to be there! Having setup our team page, we have declared our intention to help with this worth cause and to go game with everyone in it’s name.
For those who do not know, Extra Life is a charity event through the Children’s Miracle Network in which for 24 hours, gamers around the world will be in front of their collective monitors and TVs with mouse or controller in hand and gaming. The cause of such a massive marathon is, simply put, the kids. Together we game in the name of kids who are fighting cancer in our local communities, and to raise money to help them out. I participated last year, and in fact have been a part of this event since it first happened in 09, but due to when this site came into being, it will be our first year here at the Red Sector.
To this end, we are here to ask you to get involved as well, either by joining us on October 20th or donating to the cause. If you join us, please, help the cause by asking your family and friends to help you raise whatever you can to help out. If you wish to donate, the Thermometer on the right side of this side includes a button where you can do so.
On behalf of every gamer who is taking part, and every kid who will be helped by this, thank you… thank you very much.
